Steve Dawson Sr. was born in 1943. Graduating from New Waverly in 1963, he then acquired his first insurance license in 1967. In 1986, he received his current recording license and has been in the insurance business for 35 years. He began his expedition in mobile home sales in 1967 and evolved from insurance to investments to finally bringing his businesses to a standstill and settling in on Dawson Insurance Agency. Being the owner and agent of the business he is always saying he wants to "strive to do the right thing, be honest and above board on all transactions to achieve customer satisfaction."

Stephen Dawson Jr. was born in 1967. He started off learning how to be a part of the business through his father and has been ever since. He was a graduate of Huntsville High school, spent two semesters at Sam Houston State University and is currently in the process of getting his insurance license. Stephen spent a few years selling mobile homes until eventually he sold all of his mobile home companies to focus on the insurance agency. Thus the current incarnation, Dawson Insurance Agency was born. With his management and marketing skills the company has flourished. He has always made it a point to keep two constants: his family and Huntsville. His goals consist of taking over the business from his father and to one day pass it down to his kids. Stephen always says, "I want to strive to be the go to agency in Huntsville and I won’t stop till we are."

Barbara Reese was born in 1966. She began her journey in the insurance field by gaining her associates degree in administrative assistants in 1986. She then acquired her insurance license in 2005. After gaining impressive experience in the insurance field, she joined Dawson Insurance Agency in July of 2012 as our producer. With her remarkable skills she has helped us to achieve new heights of understanding and knowledge. She consults with future insurance members as well as present members to ensure customer satisfaction, always greeting each person with a smile on or off the phone. "I take care of all my customers one quote at a time and to the best of my ability."
